By using IRON / INK you agree to the following terms. They are short because the product is simple.

1. The service

IRON / INK is a free, browser-based notepad. It runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no subscription, and no server-side storage of your notes.

2. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that notes will never be lost — for example, clearing browser data, uninstalling the app, or device failure can remove locally stored notes. You are responsible for exporting anything important.

3. Your responsibility

• You are responsible for the content you write and for keeping backups by exporting to .txt or .md.
• You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes.
• You use the service at your own risk.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers are not liable for any loss of data, content, or profits, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

5. Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of the content you create. The IRON / INK name, brand, and code are the property of their respective owners.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
