Privacy Policy

IRON / INK is built on a single principle: your words belong to you. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect (spoiler: almost nothing) and what we never do.

1. What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Specifically:

• Notes: Stored only in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device and are never transmitted to any server.
• Analytics: None. There are no analytics scripts, no cookies, and no third-party trackers anywhere on this site.
• Accounts: There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no profiles.

2. Contacting us

You can reach us by email at info@netzstar.com. When you email us, we receive only the message you choose to send and your email address — used solely to reply to you. We do not run a server-side contact form, so no messages, IP addresses, or form data are stored on our servers.

3. What we never do

• We never upload, sync, or back up your notes to a cloud.
• We never run advertising or behavioral tracking.
• We never sell or share personal data with third parties.
• We never set tracking cookies.

4. Your control

Because everything lives in your browser, you stay in control. Clearing your browser data or using a private/incognito window removes all notes permanently. There is no server copy to request deletion from.

5. Third parties

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and the interface framework from a public CDN. These are static assets; they do not receive your notes or personal information. The notepad itself functions without any network connection after the first load.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. Given the local-first design, material changes to data handling are unlikely by construction.
